Food, Drink, Haunted Tales!

We will meet at the iconic downtown fountain on Washington and Taylor. Here you will receive a bit of the history of Port Townsend and you will be told a couple of the more twisted tales of our town.

Next we will stop at one of the highest rated restaurants and bars in town, Alchemy, for a drink and an appetizer. While you are there, you will get to learn the history of not just the restaurant, but of the building it is located in.

After that, we head across the street to Silverwater for the main course. This is truly a splendid place to experience what Port Townsend has to offer for food. And, again, more stories about town and the building.

What is a dinner out without a fantastic dessert? Our next stop will bring us to The Old Whiskey Mill. Known for great drinks, wonderful food and spectacular desserts this will be a favorite stop on this tour.

Then, a nightcap at The Cellar Door, Port Townsend’s most popular underground bar and night club. This is where Port Townsend gathers for great drinks, and music. And as always, more twisted tales of the cities past will be told.

During this walking food/drink experience, I will also be telling you the tales of death and debauchery.

Where to Meet Your Tour Guide
The Port Townsend Haunted Food and Drink Tour starts at Haller Fountain on the corner of Washington and Taylor Streets, located at the bottom of the stairs. Our guides begin promptly, but generally allow a ten minute grace period for latecomers. Anytime beyond that is not guaranteed. If you are running late or need directions, please call us at 360-390-8318.

If you plan on driving to the Haunted Food and Drink Tour, you’ll find on-street parking in the area of Taylor and Washington Streets. Please plan for a few extra minutes to find parking.

If you’re staying in the Downtown Historic District, we highly recommend that you just walk. The fountain is within easy walking distance of almost anywhere in the Uptown Historic District as well. Of course, since our tours run year-round, the answer to this question depends heavily on if the weather is inclement or very cold. Please do not become a ghost on our tour due to hypothermia. lol
