Where to Meet Your Tour Guide
The Port Townsend Downtown Dare Tour starts at our office at
Haller Fountain. Our guides begin promptly, but generally allow a ten minute grace period for latecomers. Anytime beyond that is not guaranteed. If you are running late or need directions, please call us at 360-390-8318 If you miss the start of the tour, the first stop is Haller Fountain at Washington and Taylor Streets. The tour will then travel along Taylor Street.
If you plan on driving to the Downtown Dare Tour, you’ll find on-street parking in the area of Taylor and Washington Streets. Please plan for a few extra minutes to find parking.
f you’re staying in the Downtown Historic District, we highly recommend that you just walk. Our office is within easy walking distance of almost anywhere in the Uptown Historic District as well. Of course, since our tours run year-round, the answer to this question depends heavily on if the weather is inclement or very cold. Please do not become a ghost on our tour due to hypothermia. lol
